Cinephile Sunday // A Girl Walks Home Alone At Night

Bringing something fresh and utterly original to the Vampire film genre, A Girl Walks Home Alone At Night is an Iranian Vampire Western and love story following two sad souls through a desolate town that's being stalked by a lonely vampire.

Beautifully presented in black & white and featuring a soundtrack worthy of weeks on repeat, this film is my latest obsession.  Every now and then, I'll experience a film that truly draws me in, fills me with warm fuzzies, and ultimately reminds me of the reasons behind my love affair with film.  This is the most recent of those films for me.  If artful, sad, comedic, and full of quirk sounds like your jam, please please please hop on over to Netflix or Amazon and check it out!

If you do watch it, or you've already seen it, I'd love to hear your thoughts on it!  What was your favorite scene?  What did you like or dislike about it?
